Seung Hwa Ministry is an association for those who voluntarily participate in the honoring and recognition of people who passed to Spirit World. The association also offers a location in a cemetery for future ceremonies. Assocication members are buried in one area. We will have a memorial ceremony for persons who pass away every year, so we can honor their sacrifice and contributions regardless of involvement, position or status full or part time.
The association is non-profit organization. The association has five advisors, one chairperson, one secretary, and three advisers. The association is to function as an information provider and a source of communication for others. The association will not directly support any activity but ask members to help those who need assistance spiritually and financially. The association will inform all members immediately when one member passes away and provide information regarding the Seung Hwa Ceremony. The association is independent from church direction but will always follow church leader guidance and advice. Most of the time, Seung Hwa Ceremonies will be organized by the local church, but association members will be part of Seung Hwa Ceremony.
Again, the association will fully support church activities. The association may ask church leader to help organize a memorial ceremony. The association will follow the church tradition and respect member’s suggestions.
